How Did You Get Hurt:
I was hit by a car when I was little. A guy was arguing with his girlfriend, not paying attention, and backed the car up suddenly completely running me over. I was Life Flighted to Childrens Hospital in San Diego and after a few days they told my Mom I had suffered a C4/C5 Incomplete spinal cord injury. When I left the hospital I couldn’t move anything from the neck down but after years of therapy I’ve gotten a lot back. I spend 6 hours a week at a Spinal Cord Injury recovery facility called Project Walk. In the four years I have been going there I have made some ridiculous progress. You can keep up with progress at www.helppatrickwalk.org. I’m still in a wheelchair but that doesn’t keep me out of the water or snow.
